Nexen Tyre announced the global debut of the all-new Roadian GTX grand-touring tire at this year's Sema Show in USA, The highly anticipated Roadian GTX encompasses all the company’s latest technological advances in tire development and manufacturing and will cater to the small crossover- and midsize-SUV segments. Nexen set out to develop one of the most competitive tier-one tire solutions available on the CUV/SUV market today understanding that durability, ride comfort and affordability are at the forefront of consumer’s needs. The crossover and midsize-SUV vehicle segment is one of the fastest-growing automotive segments in New Zealand and the Roadian GTX tire gives drivers a top-tier, high-performance tire solution at an affordable price.
Now more than ever, consumers are more particular when selecting tires, demanding longer tread life and top-tier mileage warranties. The Roadian GTX is available for more than 90% of the most popular CUV/SUV OEM tire sizes in the market today, and like many of Nexen's existing tires — such as the Roadian MTX Xtreme off-road tire.

DTM Wheel and Tyre Ltd are the manufacturer’s authorised distributor of NEXEN tyres in New Zealand.
DTM Wheel and Tyre provide a “Full Replacement” Manufacturer's Warranty on all NEXEN Tyres supplied by them in New Zealand. This warranty covers any resulting manufacturing defect in a NEXEN Tyre product for a period of 5 years from the date of manufacture.
DTM Wheel and Tyre warrant that they will replace in full any qualifying NEXEN tyre which it determines has been removed prematurely from service due to manufacturing defect, provided that the tyre has a minimum of 1.5mm tread depth remaining across the entire tread width.
DTM Wheel & Tyre’s Full Replacement Warranty on NEXEN Tyres covers conditions that require a tyre to be removed from service that are within the manufacturers' control of raw materials or quality of workmanship, and therefore excludes the following examples of service related issues outside the control of the manufacturer. These and any other service related issue are not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Uneven wear from “under and/or over inflation”
- Uneven wear from “improper tyre balance”
- Wheel alignment related shoulder wear or feathering
- Premature shoulder wear caused by a lack of or insufficient positional rotation
- Road Hazard related issues including punctures, cuts, impact damage, scrapes and/or bruises
- Overloading of the tyre beyond its design parameters
- Tyre failure due to under-inflation / puncture / driven on flat
- Racing, off-roading, damage/use of snow chains
The “Full Replacement” of any tyre determined to qualify under this warranty and be accepted for a claim may, due to product lifespans, require replacement with an alternative pattern. This warranty covers only the affected tyre and does not extend to additional tyres that may be required due to the above, or cover resulting labour charges which are the responsibility of the owner.
DTM Wheel and Tyre does not warranty NEXEN Tyres which have been distributed in New Zealand by any other party.
